
About the ARTIST
Jiba Molei Anderson is a veteran of the creative industries working as an illustrator, graphic designer, writer and educator.
He has made an educational and historical impact being included in a long-running exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art. His books have also become a critical success with Hollywood talents such as Tony Todd (Candyman, Star Trek DS9) and Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things) and comic book royalty like the late Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League Unlimited, Milestone Media.)
In 1999, Anderson formed Griot Enterprises, a publishing company / visual communication studio and created its flagship property, The Horsemen, which was first released in 2002 to critical acclaim. He has also the curator of the 4 Pages 16 Bars: A Visual Mixtape anthology series, which focuses on independent comics from creators of color as well as maintaining The Afrosoul Chronicles, a blog about comics, pop culture, politics and race.
